USN, University Michigan & Hanze University of Applied Sciences join MLA

In recent weeks, we have been delighted to welcome 3 new organisational members to the Media & Learning Association. The first is University of Southeast Norway (USN), a large university in the Norwegian context with 8 campuses, various study programmes, a lot of online courses and a high degree of digital tools used in education. USN has a particularly strong media team that assist teachers in media productions.

We are also really happy to welcome University of Michigan in the US, represented by the Center for Academic Innovation which is focused on designing the future of learning through research, innovation, experimentation, and iteration. The University of Michigan is a world-class public research institution that is working toward a future in which education connects and empowers learners everywhere to reach their full potential throughout their lives. Finally, we are thrilled to welcome Hanze University of Applied Sciences on board which is the oldest multisectoral university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. In 2023 it will celebrate its 225th anniversary. With branches in Groningen, Assen, Leeuwarden and Amsterdam, the university has approximately 30,000 students and 4,000 employees.  More Information.
