Rob Morgan and Christopher Hogg from University of London have introduced a new online course titled Narrative Foundations for Immersive Media and Video Games in Coursera.
This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of interactive storytelling across immersive media and video games. The beginner-level course covers branching narratives, spatial and VR storytelling, and culminates in a project to build a portfolio-ready immersive narrative concept. Learners can enroll for free, complete the five-module program in around four weeks, and earn a shareable certificate upon completion.
Rob is a keynote speaker at the 2026 Media & Learning Conference, where he will share insights on immersive narrative design.
