ICETOL, Bremen, Germany, 17-18 August 2026

The 6th International Conference on Educational Technology and Online Learning (ICETOL) 2026 will take place from 17 to 20 August 2026 in Bremen, Germany, hosted by Constructor University. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, welcoming participants both onsite and online from around the world.

Under the theme “Education for uncertain futures: learning, resilience, and responsibility,” ICETOL 2026 will bring together researchers, educators, policymakers, instructional designers, technology specialists, and practitioners to discuss the evolving role of digital technologies in education.

The conference will focus on emerging developments in educational technology, online and hybrid learning, generative AI, learning analytics, immersive learning environments, gamification, digital literacy, and responsible AI in education. Organisers are encouraging interdisciplinary contributions that explore both theoretical and practical approaches to technology-enhanced learning.

ICETOL 2026 will accept presentations in four languages: English, Turkish, German, and Spanish, supporting broad international participation and collaboration. The event is supported by a wide network of international institutions, including Constructor University, Anadolu University, The Open University (UK), Ohio State University, Mary Immaculate College, AKAD University, University of South Africa, and several other higher education organisations.

The programme will include keynote sessions, workshops, panels, research presentations, and collaborative roundtable discussions. Topics will range from AI-driven learning environments and XR technologies to online assessment, teacher professional development, cybersecurity awareness, and future-ready skills.

Researchers interested in participating can submit abstracts up to 30 June 2026. Accepted contributions will be published in the conference proceedings, with additional publication opportunities available through journals and edited volumes in the field of educational technology and online learning.
