The REMEDIS evaluation toolkit is a free, research-based resource aimed at educators, policymakers and community organisations. It offers strategies, intervention models and evaluation frameworks to strengthen media-literacy and digital-skills programmes, and to tackle misinformation and encourage responsible online participation. For example, a media-education project could use the toolkit’s indicators to evaluate how effectively learners identify disinformation across different platforms, or to compare results before and after an intervention. Published March 2025 under a Creative Commons licence, the Toolkit is designed for diverse settings and user groups. zenodo.org
While highly inclusive, the Toolkit may require adaptation for specific national or cultural contexts, and practitioners may need extra training to implement its evaluation frameworks effectively.
