One of the most frequently asked questions in media production is: “How long should this video be?” This blog post by James Cridland makes the point perfectly by example. Cridland writes about the length of pod casts but the principle can just as well be applied to any other media: a text, a blog, a video, a piece of audio, a MOOC… “A podcast should be like a mini skirt, as short as it can be to keep it interesting, but just long enough to cover the important bits.”
