From policy to practice: advancing GenAI Literacy in Higher Education

The session will present the EU-funded AI-LITERATE initiative, which supports higher education institutions in building evidence-based approaches to generative AI literacy. Participants will gain insights into current policy developments across Europe, as well as practical tools for integrating GenAI into teaching and learning.

The webinar will also introduce a blended learning programme designed for higher education staff and students, focusing on skills development, critical understanding, and ethical awareness in the use of generative AI. Topics include curriculum design, professional development, and responsible AI integration in academic settings.

Target audience: Higher education professors and educators, administrators, researchers, instructional designers, librarians, policymakers, and edtech professionals.
