EDEN Digital Learning Europe returns to Barcelona this November for its Digital Education Leadership Academy, a three-day intensive programme for senior leaders, academics and change agents driving digital transformation in higher education. Hosted at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, the academy caps attendance at 30 participants for hands-on learning with expert facilitators and peers.
Across the three days, delegates work through strategic thinking workshops and real-life case examples on vision-making and strategy, leading digital education under pressure (including a dedicated session on ethical leadership for the responsible use of GenAI in higher education), and change management to future-proof institutions. Speakers include Susannah Quinsee (City St George’s, University of London), Ale Armellini (University of Portsmouth), Albert Sangrà (EDEN, UOC) and Ronan Bree (Dundalk Institute of Technology).
Participants leave with a digital education action plan tailored to their institution, along with tools, frameworks and a network of peers tackling similar challenges. A networking dinner and social programme in Barcelona round out the academy.
