Representatives from across the Danube Region and beyond gathered on 19 June 2026 for the kick-off meeting of a new media literacy initiative under the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, called Building Trust Together. Participants highlighted the need for closer cooperation, regular exchange and greater visibility of existing initiatives. The initiative will now develop as an open networking platform supporting knowledge sharing and collaboration in the field of media literacy.
